3/10/2011 (Dumont, NJ) Pearson Scott Foresman (NYSE: PSO) continues to customize enVision Math, its innovative K-6 math program, with Saferock.

Scott Foresman's Envision Math Series consists of teacher guides, organized by 136 Topics throughout grades K-6, which include state correlations for each Topic. Saferock automated production for over 30 states, covering thousands of books.

"It's been really exciting to work with Pearson on this. We created a truly innovative solution that virtually eliminated all keyboarding errors, and ensured that we met all deadlines for this top-selling program", said Karim. Using its proprietary Rapid Production system, Saferock automated the production of thousands of state correlations for the teacher guides, covering multiple math strands.

This included aligning Pearson's state-standards database to Saferock's Rapid Production system, creating new art and cover content, preparing final pages, and returning finished content to the Pearson CMS. The result was a highly accurate and efficient workflow for one of the most sensitive parts of the enVision Math series.

Shah Karim, CEO of Saferock, said, It's been our privilege to work on this incredible program with Pearson. This unique program delivers quality educational material that allows the teacher to focus on the content they need."

Saferock’s roots are in providing enterprise systems to big box retailers. The company entered the education space during the No Child Left Behind era, seeing the interest in state-specific textbooks and the need of publishers to automate the process from concept to print.

Karim was quoted on this in Electronic Education, June 13 2011. The reprint is available at:
